Vday Pics & Projects

So today I had a long list of things I NEEDED to get done. It's dinnertime now, and I'm sad to say I haven't crossed one of them off of my list. I spent a lot of time on the phone catching up with friends. And I spent some time taking pics and finishing a few v-day projects. I kind of feel like I played hookey today and I really enjoyed myself. Here are a few things I've been working on: This little project cost less than a dollar. I bought a ceramic tile at Lowes, modge podged a 5x7 photo on it, added a few rubons and ribbons and voila! I put it on a little easel I already had.

Here's a quick and easy idea for teachers - a gift they could actually use:Take your labels off of a hand sanitizer. Add a few letter stickers and ribbons and you're done!
Here are a few V-day pics of Miss Chloe & Kate. Some day when the other two are home and not doing homework, I'll have to snap a few of them to get my other X & O!

"Business in the front, party in the back!"

Kate got her very first hair cut in December. She was 2 1/2 yrs old and she got a cute little A-lined bob:
Fast forward a couple of weeks. Chloe came to me and said, "Mom. I think Kate is cutting her hair."

"WHAT? You THINK she is?"

I ran to find Kate in the toy room. Hair on the ground. Mullet on her head.

Kate: "Chloe cut my hair."

I asked Chloe if she was the one who cut it. She admitted she had.

And then I lost it.

I know, I shouldn't have gotten mad at her for telling the truth. But maybe when you see the pictures, you'll have a little more empathy for my outburst:
So for the next 6 months to a year, Kate will be wearing a lot of these cute little hats:
And I am going to try and do a better job of hiding the scissors.
