I had such a wonderful mother's day. Got spoiled by Brent and the kids. Woke up to breakfast in bed not just on mother's day, but on Saturday too (which by the way, I got to sleep in . . . until 9. Can't remember the last time I did that! Maybe they were just bringing me breakfast to wake me up. But either way, it was a treat and a great way to start the weekend!) Loved getting cards and booklets and homemade gifts from the kids that they'd spent days creating. Enjoyed my shopping spree from Brent. Relaxed while not having to cook or do dishes for the entire day. But most of all, just appreciated being a mother to the best 4 kids in the world.

We finished off the day by going to my in-laws for dinner. Love that all the Foster boys put on the entire meal and it was de-lish! Pulled pork, amazing mashed potatoes made by Brent, cooked carrots, foccacia bread and salad. And then . . . one of my favorite desserts -not just one, but 3 angel food cakes with whipped cream and strawberries and even chocolate dipped strawberries.

The best mother-in-law in the world, Janet! Nothing brings her more happiness in life than her family. Can't even tell you how grateful I am for her and all she does for our family.

Lucinda (pregnant for the first time!) and Marcee - mother of 5!

Natasia - 3 kids and one on the way! Can't wait!

Jody - mother of 3 + 1 that's a foster child. (A real foster child, not just a child of the Foster clan :)

Chloe was a little excited over the size of these strawberries. Her favorite!

So grateful that Brent has made it possible for me to be a mom. He is such a great dad to our kids and such a great help to me. Sure do love him.
And then we finished off the Mother's Day weekend celebration by taking my mom and dad out to Charlestons for dinner on Monday with Marci & Joe. Perfect weekend.
