Happy Easter Weekend!

I am giddy with excitement for the coming weekend. So many fun plans!

We're starting off the Easter weekend by going to the Easter pageant tonight. Haven't been in a few years and I feel like Hayley and Blake will actually be able to comprehend it and feel the true spirit of the Easter holiday this time.

We have Hayley's birthday party on Friday - - excited that a gal is coming and doing all of the work for it :) She brings 5 sugar cookies for each girl and teaches them how to decorate them! Can't wait to see how they turn out! We'll take Hayley out for dinner on Friday and she's chosen Texas Roadhouse - one of my faves!

Saturday is conference and Blake's soccer game.

And Sunday is Hayley's actual birthday, conference and EASTER!

Mom: "Nope."

Brent: "Chloe, do you want to smell this?"

Chloe: "Does it smell like armpits?"

Me: "What did you just say?" I'm shocked. That's a word that I don't allow said . . . for anything. Even if they hate their food, they can't say hate.

So I grab her arm and march her off to time out.

Me: "Hate is a bad word that is NEVER to be said inside this house."

Chloe: "Then can I say it OUTSIDE?"

Chloe is constantly begging to go to Grandma's house to play. I always tell her the reasons why they might not be able to play with her each day, and after giving her another excuse, she says "I want to make a toy that looks just like Grandma, and then I could play with her all the time!" 03/09
