General Conference weekend is one of my favorites of the year! Love being able to stay home all weekend, relax and take in the fabulous messages from the prophet and apostles.
This year we made up baskets for friends and those I VT to help make the weekend a little more exciting and entertaining for the young ones. We filled it with bingo cards and m&m bingo markers, treats, conference packets, silly putty, tissues, a journal and cinnamon rolls for breakfast!
Another activity I did with my kids was to tape the pictures of all the apostles on easter eggs and fill them with candy. I then hid them around the house and if the kids saw one of them speaking during conference, they got to go look for his special egg and eat the treat inside.
